What promised to be a really good day out on Instow beach was once again spoilt by our British weather!!
But I have to say that the burgers provided by the PTA were excellent, even after being drenched!
Most events on the beach were cancelled or abandoned which was a real shame as everyone had gone to so much effort.
Atlantic Watersports and the RNLI braved it out along with the Marines, but I think the only real winners were the crabs who were not forced to run their race!!
Instow WI provided some much welcomed respite in the village hall with some superb locally made cakes and lovely hot tea………
so looking forward to some proper weather next year ….??
